FACILITIES MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY 720 Clock Hours (6 months) Postsecondary and High School Students The Facilities Management course includes extensive hands-on experience and a variety of classroom activities. Painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical maintenance, and landscaping are areas developed to give students the fundamental knowledge required to maintain today's buildings. Students may concentrate on a specific area. Apprenticeship opportunities with over 10 skilled craft unions are available for graduates through the Construction Apprenticeship Tech Prep Consortium. Employment Opportunities: Building superintendent,
maintenance engineer, landscaper, building custodian, apartment maintenance
