AUTO TECHNOLOGY  1290 Clock Hours (11 months)

Postsecondary and High School Students

Automotive Technology is designed to give students the skills necessary to pass the written portion of the Automotive Service Excellence certification tests and enter the field as a beginning technician. Classes are customized to meet the highest standards of the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) which has accredited the program. Students receive practical experience working in a professional shop on late model cars.

Employment Opportunities:

Automobile or dealership technician, service manager, service advisor, parts specialist, etc.
Starting salary range = $10-12 per hour
Experienced salary = $40,000-100,000 per year
