Level 1 - Intro. to Email: Basic navigation of the program will be emphasized. Learn the basics of Email. Sending, receiving, reading, replying and forwarding mail will be covered. You will learn to sort, manage and delete emails. Attaching files will be introduced. |
Level 2 - Intermediate Email: This class presumes student already know how to do basic email and is intended to add emailing skills to that knowledge. Attaching Files to email will be reviewed. Adding signatures, Out of Office Assistant, and Voting buttons are only a few of the additional features we will discuss. Organizing messages into folders will be discussed. |
Outlook Components: Outlook contains the following items to help you organize: Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, Notes, and Journal. All these tools will be taught at an introductory level. |
Outlook Sharing: In this course you will learn to schedule meeting, assign tasks, share calendars and add to the Public folders. Prerequisite: Outlook Components (3 hours - Optional text) |
Outlook Customizing: Categorizing and making custom views allows one calendar, and contacts to be used and printed in a variety of ways. Rules can automate your email to be forwarded, sent to specific folders, delete junk mail, plus other uses for this feature. Archiving can eliminate your mailbox becoming full. |
